OC19: Zira

Biography: Zira was born on Marmo, but her mother wished for a better life. When Zira was sixteen, her father finally agreed to transfer the family to Raiden, the only other place in Lodoss dark elves could live in some-what happiness. Zira's family moved into the woods outside of Raiden where many other outcast dark elves and half-dark elves lived.

When she was a young woman (at least for an elf), she fell in love with another dark elf named Kiran. They approached their relationship patiently, as elves often do, and were lovers for twenty years. However, Kiran became bored with Zira and enchanted by an elven mercenary named Mia. When Zira and Mia learned they had both been betrayed, they joined together against Kiran. When he ran off, the two women became close friends and Mia initiated Zira into the life of a mercenary. Many years later, Zira has been working as a mercenary for respectable employers, and doing her best to prove that all dark elves are not as evil as stereotypically portrayed.
